Custom Bike Show Norrtalje 2008 Sweden
Amongst the 14,000 people and 7,000 bikes who enjoyed the 2008 Custom Bike Show in Norrtalje, Sweden was Davida MD, Fiddy. Around 250 bikes entered the competition, the overall winner going forward to the World Championship of Bike Building in Sturgis USA.
Fiddys hosts Flying Choppers in Finland wins the best overall bike and best HD Chopper Class, and who went on to represent Scandinavia at Sturgis this August in the HD Chopper class.
Now in its 34th year, Norrtalje is held the first Saturday in June and attracts people from all over Europe. 2008 saw the highest entry for the HD Chopper class with the retro style inspired by the early 70's being most popular; high handlebar, long sissy bars, sharp edges and bright, deep, glossy paintjobs. The only rule for entry into the competition is that it has to be rideable in normal traffic conditions. There are no judges and the winner is selected by the participants and the visitors to Norrtalje.
Editor of Motorcycle Dealer News and organiser of the competition ,Robin Bradley , attended the event as did Mala, Editor of Finnish Kopteri Magazine
